Kepler Continues Global Expansion, Naming Mallory Simmonds as President, EMEA
Jun 9, 2023
Digital marketing services pioneer Kepler Group announced today that Mallory Simmonds has been promoted to President, EMEA. The announcement comes off a string of recent wins in the space, including Kepler becoming digital media agency for leading European airline carrier EasyJet, and global Amazon marketing partner for Versuni, formerly Philips Domestic Appliances.
In her new role, Simmonds will oversee all operational and client activities for Kepler’s EMEA business. She will continue to play a pivotal role in new business development, having been one of the driving forces behind many new client wins.
Simmonds joined Kepler in 2014 working in Client Solutions in New York before taking on leadership of the newly formed Marketing Analytics & Insights department. In 2018, she launched Kepler's first London office, prior to Kepler’s integration with Infectious Media, and led Kepler’s Amazon unit's global launch and expansion. Most recently, Simmonds led Client Delivery in EMEA.
Joshua Lerman, Global CEO commented: “With the rapid changes underway in the digital media landscape, brands are looking for a partner that can help them navigate the industry’s complexity and act quickly to take full advantage of advances in data, technology and consumer insights.
“Throughout her nearly nine years at Kepler, Mallory has played a pivotal role in enabling client success and our international growth. In her new EMEA role she’ll lead Kepler’s continued success as a partner that enables brands to grow as the digital media space continues to evolve”.
Martin Kelly, CEO EMEA & APAC, will continue to focus on business growth and broader Kepler Group activities including business development, marketing, corporate development, and executive client sponsorship.
“At this pivotal point in Kepler's journey, we couldn't have asked for a better person to take on this challenge,” said Kelly. “Mallory's energy, expertise, and dedication make her ideal for this role. In her nine years at Kepler, Mal has consistently demonstrated the vision needed to cement Kepler's position as a marketing and media pioneer in EMEA”.
Since its inception in 2012, Kepler has grown from six founders in a single office to a truly global footprint with locations in North America, EMEA and APAC and a broad range of clients, including American Express, DoorDash, HSBC, Hasbro, PepsiCo, and Sanofi Pharmaceuticals.
Its model fuses marketing activation and technology consulting, making it one of the few global specialists with the capabilities required to help brands capitalise on the rapid pace of data- and tech-driven innovation—particularly when it comes it comes to audience data, privacy and identity management, machine learning and AI, and nascent channels like connected TV, online marketplaces, and social commerce.
Simmonds said of the appointment, “This is an incredibly exciting time for Kepler EMEA. Advertisers are increasingly looking to augment and deepen their digital expertise via flexible service models, and Kepler is uniquely well-positioned to provide this kind of unbundled support. I’m thrilled to be taking on this new role and look forward to helping lead the organisation through its next growth phase”.
